培养目标 Training objectives | 1、对中国的认识和理解（Knowledge and understanding of China） 国际学生应当熟悉中国历史、地理、社会、经济等中国国情和文化基本知识，了解中国政治制度和外交政策，理解中国社会主流价值观和公共道德观念，形成良好的法治观念和道德意识。 International students should be familiar with the basic knowledge of China's national conditions and culture such as Chinese history, geography, society, and economy, understand China's political system and foreign policy, understand the mainstream values of Chinese society and public morality, and form a good concept of the rule of law and moral awareness.
2、跨文化和全球胜任力（Cross-cultural and global competencies） 国际学生应当具备包容、认知和适应文化多样性的意识、知识、态度和技能，能够在不同民族、社会和国家之间的相互尊重、理解和团结中发挥作用。 International students should have the awareness, knowledge, attitudes and skills to embrace, recognize and adapt to cultural diversity, and be able to function in mutual respect, understanding and solidarity among different peoples, societies and nations.
国际学生应当在本学科领域中具有较好的国际视野，能够在多个国家的实际环境中运用和发展本学科的知识、技能和方法，并具备参与国际事务和国际竞争的能力。 International students should have a good international perspective in this subject area, be able to apply and develop the knowledge, skills and methods of this subject in the actual environment of many countries, and have the ability to participate in international affairs and international competition.
3、汉语水平（Chinese language proficiency） 应当能够顺利使用英语完成本学科、专业的学习和研究任务，并具备使用英语从事本专业相关工作的能力；毕业时中文能力应当至少达到《国际汉语能力标准》三级水平。 International students should be able to successfully use English to complete the study and research tasks of the discipline and major, and have the ability to use English to engage in the relevant work of the major; their Chinese proficiency should at least reach Level 3 of HSK when they graduate.

科研能力及创新培养等要求 Requirements for scientific research ability and innovation training |
涉外律师硕士研究生应达到或高于《中南财经政法大学外国留学研究生培养与学位管理实施办法》2015[32]号第11条的相关规定，完成培养计划规定的学习任务，修满规定学分，学术科研和社会实践条件达到规定要求，并且在规定培养年限内完成学业（含学位论文答辩）。
Postgraduate students of Foreign-related Lawyer should follow the relevant provisions of article 11 of the “Management Methods for Masters Training in Zhongnan University of Economics and Law” 2015[32] to complete the study tasks, the required credits, academic research, and social practice conditions so to meet the requirements. Complete the study within the prescribed training period (including graduation thesis oral defense).

法律硕士专业学位（涉外律师）研究生的基本培养方式是学校法律硕士教育中心、各学院与校外联合培养单位的联合培养，有一定特色和创新的培养方式是与国际教育学院联合开展的“学生混合培养”。 (1) 实行“高校+涉外律所”联合培养。 (2) 推行“三导师制”，三方联合指导学生。 (3) 三方联合开设“案例课程”、“融通课程”和“全英文课程”。 (4) 联合开展“境内+境外”的实习培训。 (5) 联合校内国际教育学院开展“学生混合培养”。
The basic training mode for Juris Master (Foreign-related Lawyer) is the joint training of The Juris Master Education Center, other schools and off-campus joint training units, and the training mode with certain characteristics and innovation is the mixed training jointly carried out with the School of International Education. (1) Implementing the Joint Training of Universities + Foreign-related Law Firms (2) Implementation of the Three Tutorial System, Three parties guide students jointly. (3) The three parties jointly set up case courses, integration courses and English-only courses. (4) Carrying out domestic + overseas internship training Jointly. (5) Cooperating with the School of International Education to carry out student-mixed training.

The major will implement the strategic layout of the Communist Party of China and the PRC' work concerning the rule of law concerning foreign affairs in the new era. It will builde a team of high-end foreign lawyers with solid legal foundation, international vision, and a good understanding of international legal rules, especially good at dealing with foreign intellectual property, foreign trade, foreign tax, and foreign arbitration legal affairs.

留学研究生应提交学位论文选题报告和开题报告，经导师组审核同意后正式撰写论文，并报学院备案。其中采用英语授课的硕士国际学生，原则上应在第二学期末提交相关报告。
International Postgraduates should submit a dissertation topic selection report and proposal, After the review and approval of the supervisor group, the paper will be officially written.Among them, students who are taught in English should submit relevant reports at the end of the second semester in principle.

根据教育部《来华留学生高等教育质量规范（试行）》（教外（2018）50号文），以英文为授课语言的专业，毕业时中文能力应当达到《国际汉语能力标准》三级水平。 According to the ministry of education's 《Quality Standards of higher education for foreign students in China (trial)》 (no. 50 (2018)), Master students who are taught in English shall graduate with Chinese language proficiency up to HSK level 3.
未通过汉语水平考试HSK三级者不能通过毕业资格审核。 Those who have not passed HSK level 3 cannot pass the graduation qualification examination.

参照中南财经政法大学硕士研究生学位论文相关要求执行。学位论文选题应贯彻理论联系实际的原则，论文内容应强化应用导向，着眼涉外实际问题、面向涉外法律实务，反映学生综合运用所学理论与知识解决涉外法律实务问题的能力。学位论文应以涉外法律实务研究为主要内容，可以方案设计、案例分析、研究报告、专项调查等为内容，以论文形式呈现。 学位论文写作应达到以下要求： 1．论题具有理论和实践意义，题目设计合理； 2．梳理和归纳同类问题的研究或实践现状； 3．论据充分，论证合理，资料完整； 4．作者具有问题意识，能够采取综合的研究方法，如社会调查与统计方法、规范实证方法等； 5．符合写作规范，英文写作，学位论文题目及摘要翻译成中文。
Refer to the relevant requirements of the master's degree thesis of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law. Dissertation topic selection should carry out the principle of combining theory with practice, and dissertation content should strengthen application orientation, focus on foreign practical problems and face foreign legal practice, and reflect students' ability to solve foreign-related legal practice problems by comprehensively applying the theories and knowledge they have learned. The dissertation should take the foreign-related legal practice research as the main content, and may take the project design, the case analysis, the research report, the special investigation and so on as the content, presents by the paper form.
Dissertation writing should meet the following requirements: 1. The dissertation has theoretical and practical significance, and the design of the topic is reasonable; 2. To sort out and summarize the current research or practice of the same kind of problems; 3. The evidence is sufficient, the argument is reasonable and the data is complete; 4. The author has the problem consciousness, can take the comprehensive research method, such as social investigation and statistical methods, normative empirical methods, etc; 5. To meet the writing standards, writing in English. The topic and the abstract of thesis should be translated into Chinese.
