根据中国教育部文件通知，为巩固中美人文交流高层磋商机制成果，鼓励中美两国高校进一步深化合作关系，吸引更多的美国优秀青年学生来华留学，中南财经政法大学“中美学历生”奖学金现招收具有美国国籍的全日制本科生或研究生。具体申请办法如下：
一、申请资格：
1、申请人须为美国籍公民，且身体健康；
2、具有较强的科研能力；
3、申请人的学历和年龄要求（截止2022年9月1日前）：
（1）本科生：高中及以上学历，原则上年龄不超过25周岁；
（1）硕士生：本科及以上学历，原则上年龄不超过35周岁；
（2）博士生：硕士及以上学历，原则上年龄不超过40周岁。
二、资助类别、期限：
1.资助类别：本科生、硕士研究生和博士研究生；
2.资助期限：本科生4-5学年；硕士研究生2-4学年；博士研究生4-5学年。
三、申请专业：

2.该奖学金不招收除汉语类其他语言类学生。
四、奖学金内容和标准：
1、免交学费；
2、免交校内住宿费；
3、提供生活费（本科生：2500元/月，硕士研究生：3000元/月；博士研究生3500元/月）；
4、提供来华国际学生综合医疗保险。
注：往返国际旅费及其他旅费由学生自理。
五、申请材料：
1.《中国政府奖学金申请表》。使用中文或英文填写；
2.护照首页。申请人须提交有效期晚于2023年3月1日本人普通护照的首页清晰扫描件，如现持有护照有效期不符合要求，请及时换发新护照；
3.经过公证的最高学历证明。如申请人为在校学生，须另外提交本人就读学校出具的在学证明。中英文以外文本须附经公证的中文或英文译文；
4.学习成绩单。本科或硕士阶段全部课程成绩单。中英文以外文本须附经公证的中文或英文译文；
5.来华学习或研究计划。内容应包括奖学金申请的原因，家庭经济情况，个人学习和工作表现，个人所获奖励和个人特长等。字数不少于800字，用中文或英文书写；
6.推荐信。申请攻读硕士、博士学位者，须提交两名教授或副教授的推荐信，用中文或英文书写；
7.语言能力证明。中文授课项目：申请学士学位者需提交HSK3级证书，申请硕士、博士学位者需提交HSK4级证书；
8.《外国人体格检查表》（中文或英文填写）。申请人应严格按照《外国人体格检查表》中要求的项目进行检查。缺项、未贴本人照片或照片上未盖骑缝章、无医师和医院签字盖章的《外国人体格检查表》无效。检查结果有效期为6个月（可登录http://ies.zuel.edu.cn/2018/0428/c766a190293/page.htm下载）；
9.无犯罪记录证明。申请人须提交由所在地公安机关出具的有效期内的无犯罪记录证明，通常应为提交申请之日前6个月以内的证明文件；
10.发表论文、获奖证明、工作或实习证明等其他材料（如有）。
11.自我介绍视频。内容包括：（1）自我介绍；（2）对中国的了解；（3）来华学习计划。格式：AVI，mov，mp4三种均可，语言根据申请专业的授课语言，大小在50M内，时长不超过120秒。
注意：
所有通过系统上传的材料须清晰、真实、有效。建议申请人使用专业设备扫描需提交的有关文件，因上传材料不清晰或不可识别造成的后果由申请人承担；
学校不接受纸质邮寄材料；
录取材料将寄往申请表格中“永久地址”一栏中填写的地址请保持信息准确无误，请勿提供邮局地址；
若获得奖学金，须在报到时携带上述所有材料的原件（提供预毕业证明的需携带正式毕业证书原件），以供现场查验；
我校未委托任何个人或中介进行中国政府奖学金生招生。有关奖学金申请事宜，请直接与我校联系。
六、申请流程:
1.登录https://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn/#/login完成网上注册和申请，（中南财经政法大学机构代码：10520，奖学金类别：B），填写并完成《中国政府奖学金申请表》及材料上传。
2.在规定时间登录中南财经政法大学国际学生在线服务系统（网站地址：http://iesmis.zuel.edu.cn/member/login.do），注册成功后填写报名信息，缴纳报名费并上传申请材料。报名费为500元人民币，支付方式为线下汇款支付；报名费用一经缴纳，不予退还。报名费支付成功后需先在申请系统内以附件形式上传汇款凭证，最后再提交申请材料。

七、录取程序：
1.中南财经政法大学对申请人的申请材料进行评审；
2.国家留学基金管理委员会审核中南财经政法大学预录取候选人资格及材料，确定奖学金授予名单；
3.中南财经政法大学通过邮件告知奖学金获得者并公布奖学金获得者名单，将《录取通知书》和《外国留学人员来华签证申请表》（JW201表）邮寄奖学金获得者。
八、申请截止时间：
2022年7月13日
九、其他：
1.中国政府奖学金“中美人文项目”录取结果将通过我校国际教育学院网站（http://ies.zuel.edu.cn/main.htm）发布，我校国际教育学院微信平台也可查询有关信息，请申请人实时关注网站查询有关信息；
2. 奖学金获得者须按照学校规定的时间办理报到、注册手续。未经批准而逾期不报到者，按自动放弃学籍处理，所获得的奖学金资格亦自动取消，并载入学校招生诚信记录；
3. 奖学金获得者须按规定参加奖学金年度评审。不参加评审或者评审不合格者，将被中止或者取消其享受奖学金的资格；
特别提醒：受全球疫情影响，如国际学生2022年度秋季学期无法入境到校，我校仍将采取线上授课，授课时间按北京时间安排。请申请人结合自身实际情况认真考量能否接受此授课方式及时间后再进行申请

2022 Chinese Government Scholarship- Sino-U.S.Degree Student Program
In order to consolidate the achievement of high level cultural exchanges, to encourage further cooperation between China and the United States and to attract more outstanding American students, Zhongnan University of Economics and Law is entrusted to undertake the enrollment of “Sino-U.S. Students Scholarship” for undergraduate and graduate programs.
I. Eligibility
1.Applicants must be a citizen of United States, and be in good health.
2.Good scientific research ability.
3.Educational background and age limits（before 1st, September, 2022）
(1) Bachelor's programs: hold a high school diploma or above and be under the age of 25;
(2) Master's programs: hold a bachelor's degree or above and be under the age of 35;
(3) Doctoral programs: hold a master's degree or above and be under the age of 40.
II. Supporting Categories and Duration
1.Supporting Category. This scholarship supports Undergraduate and Graduate students.
2.Duration. This scholarship only supports undergraduate students for 4-5 academic years, master’s students for 2-4 academic years or doctoral students for 4-5 academic years.

IV. Scholarship Coverage
This is a full scholarship which covers
1.Tuition waiver;
2.Campus accommodation;
3.Stipend: Undergraduate student: 2500RMB/month;Master student 3000RMB/month; Doctoral student 3500RMB/month;
4.Foreign Students Comprehensive Medical Insurance.
International travel expenses and other related expenses are NOT included.
V.Application Documents
1.Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship (Download from CSC Online Application System);
2. Copy of Passport Home Page: Applicant shall submit a clear scanned copy of his/her ordinary passport with validity later than March 1st, 2023. If the validity of the current passport does not meet the requirement, please apply for a new passport before submitting the application;
3.Notarized highest diploma: Prospective diploma winners must submit official proof of student status by their current school. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations;
4. Academic transcripts: Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations;
5.A Study Plan or Research Proposal in Chinese or English. The content should
include application reasons, family financial condition, education and work experience and personal award and strong points etc. At least 800 words;
6. Recommendation letters: Applicants for graduate programs must submit two letters of recommendation in Chinese or English from professors or associate professors(signature and contact information are necessary);
7. Language qualification certificate:For Chinese-taught programs:Applicants for bachelor's degree must submit HSK level 3 certificate, and applicants for master's degree and doctorate must submit HSK level 4 certificate;
8. Foreigner Physical Examination Form: The physical examinations must cover all the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Incomplete records or those without the signature of the attending physician, the official stamp of the hospital or a sealed photograph of the applicants are invalid. 9.Non-criminal record report. The applicant shall submit a valid certificate of Non-Criminal Record issued by the local public security authority, usually issued within 6 months prior to the submission date of the application;
10.Other additional documents (e.g. certificate of work or internship, award, publications).
11.Self-introduction video. Contents include :(1) Self-introduction; (2) Understanding of China; (3) Study plan in China. Formats: AVI, Move, MP4. The file should be within 50Mb and less than 120 seconds in length according to the teaching language of the applied major.

All uploaded supporting documents must be clear, authentic and valid. Applicants are recommended to use professional device to scan the relevant documents. Applicants will be responsible for any consequences caused by unclear or unidentifiable uploaded materials;
ZUEL does Not accept any hard-copy application documents;
Admission documents will be sent to the permanent address written on the application form. Please ensure that the contact information is valid and accurate. The mailing address with P.O.Box is NOT accepted;
Please bring the originals of all the above-mentioned documents when you register .Those who provide a prospective diploma certificate must bring the original official graduation certificate for verification;

VI.Admission Procedure
1.Log in CSC Online Application System (https://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn/#/login) and complete the application form,(Choose Type B, fill in the ZUEL agency code 10520).
2.Log in to the International Student Online Service System of ZUEL (http://iesmis.zuel.edu.cn/member/login.do), fill in the application information and pay the application fee before the deadline .The application fee is RMB 500, and the payment method is remittance; once the application fee is paid, it will not be refunded. After the application fee is paid successfully, applicants need to upload the certificate of remittance as an attachment in the application system, and then submit the application materials.

VIII.Admission and Notification
ZUEL will review all the application documents;
CSC will review eligibility and qualifications of candidates nominated by ZUEL, and decide the final list of scholarship winners;
ZUEL will inform and send the admission documents (Admission Letter and Visa Application Form for Study in China (JW201)) to scholarship recipients.
IX. Others
The result of 2022 Chinese Government Scholarship-Sino-U.S. Students Program will be announced on the website of International Education School (http://ies.zuel.edu.cn/main.htm). The official wechat account will also release the results. Please keep following the updates of the website and wechat account as well;
Scholarship recipients should go through the registration procedures on the date stipulated by the university. Those who fail to register after the deadline without approval will be regarded as giving up their student status automatically, and their scholarship qualification will be automatically canceled and recorded in the admissions integrity record of ZUEL;
Scholarship recipients MUST participate in annual scholarship evaluation. Scholarship holders who fail to meet the requirements will have their scholarship canceled;
Reminder: Affected by the global pandemic, if international students cannot arrive our university in the fall semester of 2022, we will still offer online teaching, and the timetable will be arranged in Beijing time. Applicants should consider it carefully according to this situation before applying.
