为确保一个平安快乐的假期校园环境，留学生管理办公室特别提醒留学生同学们注意安全：
In order to ensure a safe living and learning environment during 2020 Winter Holiday, the International Student Affairs Office would like to remind international students to pay attention to the safety tips:
1、离校前要整理好个人物品并放置有序，衣柜、抽屉、箱包上好锁。不要在宿舍里存放现金和贵重物品，手机、手提电脑、首饰等应随身携带，妥善保管，手提电脑等贵重物品尽量带回家。外出旅游、回国的同学，离开宿舍前一定要确认已关好房间水、电、门、窗等。
Keep your private things and lock your closet. Don’t leave your cash and precious things including mobile phones or laptops in dorm; keep your jewelry with you.
The students who plan to travel and go back should make sure that water tap\electricity\door\windows are shut down.
2、留校的同学假期内严禁在宿舍、酒吧酗酒，不准在宿舍吵闹、制造噪音，要养成良好的健康生活习惯、正常作息，假期宿舍关门时间为晚上11时30分。宿舍内不准留宿外来人员。
Excessive drinking in dorm and bars is forbidden. Don’t shout or make noise in dorm and keep a good life habit. The gate of our dormitory closes at 11:30pm.The visitors should not live in dormitory.
3、放假期间全体国际学生必须遵守中国法律法规和校纪校规。违反国家法律、法令、法规受到公安、司法部门处罚者，视其情节轻重，给予严重警告直至开除学籍处分；尤其是谨防非法打工、签证过期、酗酒闹事、校外住宿扰民、黄赌毒等常见违法违纪行为发生。
All international students must comply with Chinese laws and regulations in addition to our university’s policies. Any violation of national laws, ordinances and statutes will result in legal penalties from the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Justice, and, according to the severity of the offense, students who commit violations will be given a serious warning that could lead to expulsion from ZUEL. Please pay a special attention to the common violations such as illegal working with student visa, visa expiration, unruly behaviour due to alcohol, and disturbing others when living off campus. Stay away from pornography,gambling and drug abuse.
4、禁止在室内使用明火如蜡烛和电炉以及其他电加热器具，不准自己随意安装或改造线路。严禁将易燃、易爆、剧毒、放射性等危险物品带入公寓区。不得在楼内或向窗外燃放烟火、爆竹，不得乱扔烟蒂。遵守防火规定，严防火灾。严格注意用电安全，不违规使用电器，如电炉子等，不私搭电线，注意宿舍电器老化情况，如有发现异常，请第一时间与师傅联系。
Fire, candles, electric stoves, or other electric heating devices are forbidden. Installing and reconstructing circuit is prohibited. Dangerous articles such as inflammable, explosive, virulent and radioactive articles can not be brought into apartments. Students shall not set off fireworks in apartment or beside windows or throw stub in dustbin and shall obey fireproofing rules and prevent fire.Pay attention to using electricity safely. Do not use the prohibited or high-volume electricity appliances, like the electric stove. Do not personally change the electricity wires or structure without any permit. If student finds something unusual of the electricity or appliances, please report to staff of the dormitory.
5、交通与出行安全提醒。遵守交通法规，注意交通安全。不得骑行摩托车和无牌照电动车。电瓶车行驶不超速、不超载、骑自行车不逆行行驶、不闯红灯。离开武汉必须在学院登记，随身携带有效护照，24小时登记住宿。
Traffic and travel safety reminders: Please abide by all traffic laws and regulations and pay close attention to traffic safety. Riding motorcycles is not permitted. When riding battery-operated vehicles, do not overspeed or overload. If riding a bicycle, do not go against traffic or runred lights. If you are leaving Wuhan, you must inform the office, carry a valid passport with you at all times, and register your recommendation within 24 hours of arrival at your destination.
6、搭乘电梯安全提醒。乘扶梯时，电梯不能超载，当电梯报警时，应当主动退出，等下一趟再乘。乘坐电梯发生故障时，请及时拨打维修或报警电话，切勿惊慌。
Reminders regarding safety when using elevators: When using an elevator, please do not overload. When an warning alarm occurs, it is supposed to exit the escalator quickly and steadily. If a malfunction occurs when using the escalator, please call maintenance or the police, and do not panic.
7、防盗防骗安全提醒。不要随身携带大量现金，拒绝任何形式推销，严守个人信息。一定保管好个人的有效证件，不要将个人证件借给他人使用，并随身携带有效证件的复印件。
Tips to prevent theft and fraud: Do not carry a lot of cash when going out. Refuse any form of sales promotion and protect your personal information. Take care of your personal documents, and do not let others use them on your behalf. Always carry a photocopy of your important documents (e.g. passports).
8、紧急事宜联系：任何紧急事宜，请直接联系负责老师，如遇突发事件，请直接拨打各种报警电话。公安：110 火警：119 急救电话：120
Emergency contacts: In the event of an emergency, please contact the relevant teacher when it is safe to do so. If you need urgent assistance, please call one of the following numbers:

如有需要请假的同学，必须严格按照中南财经政法大学国际学生请假规定向相关的老师以及学院以书面形式同时报备，得到获批之后方可请假。不按时签到将会影响奖学金的发放。
Students who need to ask for leave must perform in strict accordance with ZUEL policies regarding taking leave for international students, which entails notifying and receiving permission from relevant teachers and departments in written form.If students fail to register on time,scholarship will be influenced.
