Notice for 2019-2020 Overseas Students’ Scholarship
at Zhongnan University of Economics and Law
为吸引世界各国优秀学生来我校学习，扩大留学生规模和改善留学生层次，提高学校国际办学能力，提升学校国际化水平，中南财经政法大学设立“来华留学生奖学金”。
With the aim of attracting outstanding students from around the world, increasing the number and improving the quality of international students at our school and increasing our capacity for international operation and our level of internationalization, Zhongnan University of Economics and Law has established an overseas students’ scholarship.
资助类别：来华留学生奖学金资助优秀外国学生来校攻读学士、硕士和博士学位。
Types of Recipients: The overseas students’ scholarship will support outstanding international students to apply for Bachelor, Master and Doctor’s degrees at Zhongnan University of Economics and Law.
资助期限：奖学金资助期限包括专业学习的期限，详见下表：

●提供免费校内住宿（留学生公寓双人间标准）：标准为750元/月；
●提供奖学金生活费：标准为2,500元人民币/月，奖学金生当月十五日（含十五日）之前到校注册的，发给全月奖学金生活费；十五日以后注册的，发半个月奖学金生活费。
●提供门诊医疗服务和来华留学生综合医疗保险；
来华留学生平安保险：800元人民币/年

●Free boarding (standard double room in international student dormitory): at cost standard of RMB 750 Yuan/month;
●Scholarship living allowance: at the standard amount of RMB 2,500 Yuan/month; scholarship-supported students who have arrived and registered at school prior to the 15th day of the month (including the 15th day) shall receive the living allowance for the full month; students who have registered after the 15th day shall receive living allowance for half a month.
●Comprehensive Medical Insurance Plan of Foreign Students in China : RMB 800 Yuan/year.

申请途径和时间
申请人直接向中南财经政法大学国际教育学院申请来华留学生奖学金，按照学校规定于2019年5月17日前在线申请。
Method and Time
The applicant will directly apply for the overseas student scholarship at International Education School, Zhongnan University of Economics and Law directly, and apply online before May 17,2019.
申请人基本条件
1. 申请人应是具有外国国籍、持外国普通护照的外籍公民，品行端正，对华友好，无违法犯罪记录。
2. 申请中南财经政法大学来华留学生奖学金来校攻读学士学位的学生，申请时汉语水平应达到HSK4级以上（含4级），中学成绩优良。
3. 申请中南财经政法大学来华留学生奖学金来校攻读中文授课研究生学历的学生，申请时汉语水平应达到HSK5级以上（含5级），大学成绩良好，学分绩点达到3.0以上（含3.0）。
4. 申请中南财经政法大学来华留学生奖学金来校攻读英文授课研究生学历的学生，申请时英语水平应达到雅思6分以上（含6分）或托福75分以上（含70分），大学成绩良好，学分绩点达到3.0以上（含3.0）。母语为英语的申请人可以不用提交雅思或托福成绩。
Basic Criteria of Applicant
1. The applicant must be a holder of a foreign passport, have outstanding character, have interest in China, and have no criminal record.
2. Students applying for the scholarship with the purpose of Bachelor’s degree must be qualified for HSK Level 4 or above in Chinese language skills, and have good academic performance in high school.
3. Students applying for the scholarship with the purpose of graduate studies in a program taught in Chinese must be qualified for HSK Level 5 or above in Chinese language skills, and have good academic performance in university, with a GPA of 3.0 or above.
4. Students applying for the scholarship with the purpose of graduate studies in a program taught in English shall be qualified for IELTS 6 or above, or TOFEL 75 or above, and have good performance in university, with a GPA of 3.0 or above. Students whose native language is English are not required to provide IELTS or TOFEL grades.

第五步：完整填写相关内容，按要求上传相应申请资料，提交电子报名信息。

Application Procedure
Login Online Application：
Step One: Type in online application website：http://iesmis.zuel.edu.cn
Step Two: Register online，*is the necessary information
Step Three: Activate the mailbox, click on the registration activation link
Step Four: Applying online,
a. choose your program and click on “next”
b. choose your type and click on “next
c. choose “department、major、teaching language” and click on “Apply”
Step Five: Complete the information, upload all the required documents and
submit your application.
★Please make sure all information and documents are true and valid.
Uncompleted application would be rejected.
需上传申请材料（无需纸质材料）
1. 申请人护照扫描件。
2.经过公证的最高学历证明。
3. 经过公证的学习成绩单扫描件。
4. 《外国人体格检查记录》。
5. 申请汉语授课项目的需出具HSK4级或4级以上证书；申请英语授课项目的需出具雅思成绩单（6或6分以上），母语为英语的申请人除外。
6. 申请攻读学士学位者需提供所毕业中学的推荐信，申请攻读硕士、博士学位者需出具两名教授或副教授的推荐信。
7. 来华学习计划，申请本科项目的不少于800字，申请研究生项目的不少于1500字。
Application Documents to Be Uploaded (No paper material is required)
1. Photocopies of the applicant’s passport.
2. Certificates of the student’s highest degree of education, all notarized photocopies.
3. Certificates of the student’s notarized academic transcripts.
4. “Physical Examination Record for Foreigner”.
5. Students applying for programs taught in Chinese must provide certificate for HSK Level 4 or above; Non-native English speaking students applying for program taught in English shall provide certificate for IELTS results of 6 or above.
6.Applicant for undergraduate program shall provide a letter of recommendation from the graduating high school; applicant for graduate program must provide letters of recommendation from two professors or associate professor-level faculty members.
7. Study plan in China, minimum 800 Chinese characters for undergraduate programs, minimum 1500 words or Chinese characters for graduate programs.
国际教育学院对申请人的申请资料进行初步审核后，将合格的申请资料报送学校来华留学生奖学金评审委员会，由评审委员会决定是否授予奖学金以及奖学金类型。国际教育学院在6月底将奖学金评审结果通知申请人。
International Education School will conduct a preliminary review of application materials, and provide qualified materials to the school’s Review Committee for Overseas Student Scholarship. The committee shall decide whether the student is qualified for which type scholarship, and the type of scholarship. At the end of June , International Education School will generally notify the applicant of the review results.
