Notice on strengthening the fire safety work of dormitory for international students
夏日将至，气温逐渐升高，发生火灾的危险也会上升。为切实加强学生宿舍安全管理，消除安全隐患，严防火灾事故发生，保护学生生命财产安全，现将有关事项通知如下：
As summer approaches, the temperature will gradually rise and the risk of fire will rise. In order to strengthen the safety management of students' dormitories, eliminate potential safety hazards, prevent fire accidents and protect the safety of students' lives and properties, we hereby notify the following matters:
一、学生要自觉遵守法律法规和学校的宿舍管理规定，进一步增强安全用电意识。爱护灭火器、消防栓、指示灯等消防设施，不得破坏、私自拆除、不得改变消防设施用途。要保持宿舍楼疏散通道、安全出口畅通，不得占用、封堵和堆放杂物。宿舍无人情况下须切断所有电源，做到“人走灯灭、人走断电”。
1、 Students should consciously abide by laws and regulations and school management regulations, and further enhance the awareness of safe electricity use. Take good care of fire-fighting facilities such as fire extinguishers, fire hydrants and indicator lights, and do not damage, dismantle or change the purpose of fire-fighting facilities without permission. The evacuation passageway and emergency exit of dormitory building shall be kept unblocked, and no sundries shall be occupied, blocked or stacked. When there is no one in the room, all the power must be cut off, so as to "turn off the lights and turn off the power when people are leaving".
二、学生宿舍区内如下行为明令禁止：
（一）禁止在宿舍内私拉乱接电线、私自拆改线路电器设备，特别提出要杜绝从房间私自接电线到楼下给电动车充电的情况。
（二）禁止在宿舍内使用功率较大、安全系数较低的电加热器具，做饭请到公共厨房。
（三）禁止在宿舍内使用或存放燃料酒精、汽油、液化气等易燃品。另外，杀虫剂、香水、消毒酒精等物品遇到明火极易燃烧，也属于易燃物品，请妥善保管，避免大量集中存放。
（四）禁止在宿舍内使用明火，吸烟的同学请妥善处理烟头，严禁乱扔烟头等。
2、 The following behaviors are prohibited in the dormitory area:
（1） It is forbidden to connect wires or dismantle or change electric equipment in dormitory without permission. It is especially proposed to prevent the electric vehicle from connecting wires in room to charging downstairs without permission.
（2） It is forbidden to use electric heating appliances with high power or low safety factor in the dormitory. Please go to the public kitchen for cooking.
（3）It is forbidden to use or store fuel alcohol, gasoline, liquefied gas and other inflammables in the dormitory. In addition, pesticides, perfumes, disinfectant and other items are easily combustible when exposed to open fire. They are also inflammable. Please keep them carefully and avoid large quantities of storage.
（4） It is forbidden to use open fire in the dormitory, smoke, throw cigarette butts, etc.
三、违规使用大功率电器和违章电器的学生，须在一周内自行处理相关物品。学生可将超负荷用电和安全系数较低的电加热器具上交给各学院统一登记处理。
3、 Students who use high-power electrical appliances and illegal electrical appliances in violation of regulations shall dispose of relevant articles by themselves within one week. Students can submit the overload electricity and electric heating appliances with low safety factor to each college for unified registration.
四、国际教育学院将在近期组织一次宿舍安全检查，对于存在的易燃物、违规电器等违禁物品，学院将进行收缴，并严格按照校规处理。
4、 The IES will organize a dormitory safety inspection in the near future. For inflammables, illegal electrical appliances and other prohibited items, the IES will collect them and deal with them in strict accordance with the school rules.
