It is an institution of higher education under the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China with economics, law, and management as its core disciplines. These are coordinated with the development of six other disciplines including Literature, History, Philosophy, Science, Engineering, Art, etc. ZUEL has established itself as a top university directly under the Ministry of Education and has been appointed as a participant in the “211 Project” and “the 985 Project Innovation Platform”, two national development projects committed to achieving first-rate education and scholarships that meet international standards. ZUEL consists of 19 schools, offering 51 undergraduate majors, 89 master and 51 doctoral programs. 国际教育学院每学期开放精品语言教学课程，分为初级、中级和高级课程，通过专业测试安排学生进入相应课堂，每个班级约有15到20名学生。春季学期通常从二月下旬开始上课，秋季学期从九月上旬或下旬开始上课，一个学期通常有每周20课时，共18周的语言课程。学生可根据自身兴趣及汉语能力选择一到两门选修课程，如中国书法。每学期安排一次或两次实地考察活动。 Each semester, the International Education School organizes language-teaching classes at elementary-1, elementary-2, intermediate-1, intermediate-2 and advanced-1, advanced-2 levels. Students are to be placed in classes that suit them best by taking a proficiency test. A class is usually composed of 15-20 students. The spring semester usually starts from late February and the autumn semester from early or middle September. A semester usually consists of 18 weeks with 20 class hours of language courses per week. Electives are offered for students to choose from one to two courses according to the students’ interest and Chinese capacity, such as Chinese calligraphy. Field trips are arranged once or twice each semester. （二）

标注了*的专业需要提供相关英文能力证明：比如雅思、托福成绩，或者在英文环境下学习和工作过的证明 The Major marked * should be submitted in Proof of English Language Ability：IELTS、TOEFL, you may also enclose a document to prove that you have studied or worked in English. 五、申请须知：Guide to Application: 1.护照需为清晰、完整的彩色扫描件，内容包括信息页及其上一页。 The color scanned passport, including the information page and its previous page, should be as clear and complete. 2.姓名必须严格按照护照上填写，不得缩写，不得省略中间名。姓或名为空的，可以留空或者填写“-”“.”。 The name must be the same as that in the passport.Abbreviations or omissions of the middle name are not allowed. (Either one is acceptable) 5.所有申请者需如实填写从高中至今的所有学习经历和工作经历，年份之间不得有空缺。（韩国学生需填写服兵役情况） Applicants must fill in all the study and work experiences from high school so far without gaps. If the degree certificate isnot acquired yet, the previously acquired academic certificate must be submitted. (Any other relevant documents are unacceptable) 7.非英文的学历证明要提交原件+经公证的中文或英文的译文。 If the academic certificate is non-English, the original must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations. 8.申请者的最后学历请填写申请者的前置最高学历。 The highest level of education must be filled in the previously acquired degree. 9.学习成绩单。中英文以外文本须附经公证的中文或英文的译文。 Academic transcripts (written in Chinese or English); transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations. 10.体检证明。所有申请者须提交《外国人体格检查表》复印件（原件自行保存，可登录http://www.csc.edu.cn/studyinchina 或 http://www.campuschina.org 下载，须英文填写）。申请人应严格按照《外国人体格检查表》中要求的项目进行检查。缺项、未贴有本人照片或照片上未盖骑缝章、无医师和医院签字盖章的《外国人体格检查表》无效。鉴于检查结果有效期为6个月，请申请人据此确定本人进行体检的时间； Applicants must submit Foreigner Physical Examination Form (photocopy) written in English. (downloaded from http://www.csc.edu.cn/studyinchina or http://www.campuschina.org ) The physical examinations must cover all of the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Incomplete forms or forms without the signature of the attending physician, or the official stamp of the hospital, or a sealed photograph of the applicant are considered as invalid. Please carefully plan your physical examination schedule as the result is valid for only 6 months. 11.语言证明。本科生提交HSK4，硕士、博士生中文授课项目需提交HSK4级以上证书；英文授课项目需提交托福75或雅思6分相关证书。申请英文授课项目：母语或官方语言为英语的申请者可不用提交语言证明；前置学位为英文授课的申请者可用相关证明代替语言证明。 Language requirement. For Chinese-taught programs: Undergraduates should submit HSK 4 Certificate; master's students and doctoral students should submit certificate above HSK 4.For English-taught programs: TOEFL: 75 or IELTS: 6.0.Applicants whose native language or official language is English don't need to submit certification of language proficiency; applicants whose previous degree programs are taught in English may use relevant documents to certify the language proficiency. 12.推荐信。申请攻读硕士、博士学位者和申请作为高级、普通进修生来华学习者，须提交两名教授的推荐信，用中文或英文书写。 Recommendation letters (written in Chinese or English). Applicants for the graduate programs, and senior and common scholar programs must submit two recommendation letters signed by professors. 13.来华学习或研究计划。用中文或英文书写。普通进修生和硕士生不少于1500字，博士研究生和高级进修生不少于2500字。 A Study Plan or Research Proposal (written in Chinese or English). Applicants currently worked as Chinese language teachers shall not exceed the age limit of 45, while undergraduate students shall not exceed the age limit of 25. （二）奖学金类别及申请条件SCHOLARSHIP TYPES AND QUALIFICATIONS 一学期研修生 Scholarship for One-Semester Study和 一学年研修生 Scholarship for One-year Study 2019年9月入学，资助期限为5个月。不录取护照上有X1、X2签证者。 Commences either in September 2019 and provides scholarship of maximum 5 months. Applicants withholding visas X1 or X2 are not eligible. （三）办理流程APPLICATION PROCEDURES 申请者可登录孔子学院奖学金网站（cis.chinese.cn）申请孔子学院奖学金。 登录孔子学院奖学金网站，查询推荐机构与接收院校；在线提交申请材料，关注申请进程、审核意见与奖学金评审结果；奖学金获得者与接收院校确认办理来华留学手续，在线打印获奖证书；按接收院校录取通知书规定的时间入学报到。申请截止日期为：5月10日（2019年9月入学）。 汉办集中评审，择优资助，于入学前2个月完成奖学金评审工作，公布评审结果。 Please log on the Confucius Institute Scholarship website (cis.chinese.cn）to search recommending institutions and host institutions, upload application materials online, track the application progress, feedback of review and admission results. Scholarship holders need to confirm with the host institutions to go through the procedures of studying in China, print out CIS certificate online, and register at host institutions at the designated date and time as per the letter of admission.The application deadlines are May10th(for those commencing in September 2019)Hanban will complete the scholarship review and notify the results two months before enrollment of the admitted students. （四）申请材料清单Application Documents for Confucius Institute Scholarship 一、与所有申请者有关的证明材料 1．护照照片页扫描件。 2．HSK、HSKK成绩报告（有效期两年）扫描件。 3．推荐机构负责人的推荐信。 二、与学历生有关的证明材料 4．提供最高学历证明（毕业预期证明）和在校学习成绩单。 5．汉语国际教育专业硕士须提供两名副教授以上职称导师的推荐信。提供毕业后拟任教机构工作协议者优先资助。 三、未满18周岁的申请者，须提交在华监护人署名的委托证明文件。 四、申请者还须提供接收院校要求的其他证明材料。 A.For all applicants a) A Scanned copy of passport photo page b) A scanned copy of score reports of the HSK and HSKK tests (within the two-year validity). c) A Recommendation letter by the head of the recommending institutions B.For degree scholarship program applicants a) A certification of the highest education diploma (or proof of expected graduation) and an official transcript. b) Applicants of the Scholarship for MTCSOL Students are required to provide 2 reference letters from professors or associate professors. D.Applicants shall also provide additional documents required by the host institutions （五）孔子学院奖学金资助内容及标准Confucius Institute Scholarship Coverage and Criteria 孔子学院奖学金资助内容包括：学费、住宿费、生活费（四周研修生除外）和综合医疗保险费。 1．学费由接收院校统筹用于奖学金生的培养与管理，开展文化活动，组织参加汉语考试。学费不包含教材费和旅游景点门票。 2．住宿费由接收院校统筹使用，为学生提供免费宿舍，一般为双人间；经奖学金生申请、接收院校批准，选择校外住宿者，由学校按月或季度发放住宿费，标准为700元人民币/月。 3．生活费由接收院校按月发放。本科生、一学年和一学期研修生标准为2500元人民币/月；汉语国际教育专业硕士生为3000元人民币/月。 奖学金生按接收院校录取通知书规定的时间入学报到，否则取消奖学金资格。当月15日（含15日）前到校注册者，当月发放全额生活费；15日以后注册者，当月发放半月生活费。 奖学金生在学期间（不含寒暑假）因个人原因离开中国时间超过15天者，停发离华期间生活费。 奖学金生因个人原因休学、退学或受接收院校纪律处分者，停发自休学、退学或接到处分通知之日起的生活费。 毕（结）业生的生活费发放至学校确定的毕（结）业日期后的半个月。 4．综合医疗保险费参照中国教育部来华留学有关规定执行，由接收院校统一购买。四周研修生标准为160元人民币/人，一学期研修生为400元人民币/人，一学年以上标准为800元人民币/年/人。 The Confucius Institute Scholarship provides full coverage on tuition fee, accommodation fee, living allowance (four-week study students are excluded) and comprehensive medical insurance expenses. a) Tuition fee is under the overall planning and utilization of host institutions to provide teaching and management of scholarship students organizing cultural and social activities, as well as organizing Chinese language proficiency tests. Tuition fee does not cover the textbook expenses and tourist tickets. b) Accommodation fee is under the overall planning and utilization of host institutions to provide students with in-campusapartments (usually double rooms). Students may also live off-campus upon application and getting permission from the host institutions. Students who live off-campus are entitled to accommodation allowance of 700 CNY per person/month paid on a monthly / quarterly basis from the host institutions. c) Living allowance is granted by host institutions on a monthly basis. The monthly allowance for undergraduates, one-academic-year study students and one-semester students is 2,500 CNY per person. For MTCSOL student, the monthly allowance is 3,000 CNY per person. Students are required to complete enrollment procedures for every semester within stipulated period; otherwise, their scholarship may be cancelled. Students who are enrolled before the 15th (or on the 15th) of the month are entitled to the full allowance of that month while those enrolled after the 15th of that month are only entitled to half of the amount. During the study period, for any student who is absent from China due to personal reasons for more than 15 days (excluding winter and summer holidays), the allowance during absence will be suspended. For students who suspend study or drop out of school for personal reasons, or who are given disciplinary punishment by the host institutions, allowance will be terminated on the date of such suspension, dropping out or when the decision of such punishment is announced. The living allowance for the month of graduation will be granted half a month after the date of graduation or expiration day of the study confirmed by host institutions. Comprehensive medical insurance is purchased by the host institutions in accordance with relevant regulations of studying in China stipulated by the Ministry of Education of China.
