2018 Chinese Government Scholarship- Sino-U.S. Students Program
根据中国教育部文件通知，为巩固中美人文交流高层磋商机制成果，鼓励中美两国高校进一步深化合作关系，吸引更多的美国优秀青年学生来华留学，中南财经政法大学“中美学历生”奖学金现招收具有美国国籍的全日制本科生或研究生。具体申请办法如下：
In order to consolidate the achievement of high level cultural exchanges, to encourage further cooperation between China and the United States and to attract more outstanding American students, Zhongnan University of Economics and Law is entrusted to undertake the enrollment of “Sino-U.S. Students Scholarship” for undergraduate and graduate programs.
一、招生类别/Program
全日制本科生/Undergraduate (Bachelor)
研究生/Graduate (Master and Doctor)
二、申请人资格/ Eligibility
1、申请人须为美国籍公民，且身体健康；
Applicants must be a citizen of United States, and be in good health.
2、申请人的学历和年龄要求：本科生须具有高中学历，年龄不超过25周岁；硕士研究生须具有学士学位，年龄不超过35周岁; 博士研究生须具有学士学位，年龄不超过40周岁;
The requirements for applicants’ degree and age are that applicants must:
be a high school graduate and no more than 25 years old when applying for the undergraduate programs.
be a bachelor’s degree holder and no more than 35 years old when applying for the master’s programs;
be a master’s degree holder and no more than 40 years old when applying for the doctoral programs.
3、具有较强的科研能力；Good scientific research ability.
4、申请中文授课研究生学历的学生，申请时汉语水平应达到HSK5级以上（含5级），大学成绩良好，学分绩点达到3.0以上（含3.0）；申请中南财经政法大学来华留学生奖学金来校攻读英文授课研究生学历的学生，学分绩点达到3.0以上（含3.0）；母语为英语的申请人可以不用提交雅思或托福成绩。Students applying for the scholarship with the purpose of graduate studies in a program taught in Chinese must be qualified for HSK Level 5 or above in Chinese language skills, and have good academic performance in university, with a GPA of 3.0 or above.
Students applying for the scholarship with the purpose of graduate studies in a program taught in English shall have good performance in university, with a GPA of 3.0 or above. Students whose native language is English are not required to provide IELTS or TOFEL grades.

四、奖学金内容和标准/Scholarship Coverage
免交学费；
提供免费校内住宿;
提供奖学金生活费（本科生：2500元/月，硕士研究生：3000元/月；博士研究生3500元/月）；
提供中国政府奖学金来华留学生综合医疗保险；
往返国际旅费及其他旅费学生自理。
The program provides a full scholarship which covers tuition waiver, accommodation, stipend (undergraduate student: 2500RMB/month; master’s students: 3000RMB/month; doctoral students 3500RMB/month), and comprehensive medical insurance. International travel expenses and other related expenses are NOT included.
五、申请材料/Application Documents
1、《中国政府奖学金申请表》（用中文或英文填写）Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship (written in Chinese or English);
说明：在国家留学基金委的“来华留学网上报名系统”（网址：http://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn/#/register）进行网上填写和提交申请基本信息。提交信息后，请打印系统自动生成的中国政府奖学金申请表。没有进行网上报名的申请人，国家留学基金委将不予认可。）Complete the online application procedure at CGS Information Management System for International Students (Visithttp://www.csc.edu.cn/studyinchinaorhttp://www.campuschina.organd click “Application Online” to log in), submit online the completed Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship, and print a hard copy.
2、有效护照复印件；Valid passport copy.
3、经过公证的最高学历证明。如申请人为在校学生，需另外提交本人就读学校出具的在学证明。中英文以外文本需附经公证的中文或英文的译文；
Notarized highest diploma.
Prospective diploma recipients must submit official document issued by your current school to prove your current student status or expected graduation date. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations.
4、学习成绩单。中英文以外文本需附经公证的中文或英文的译文；Academic transcripts (written in Chinese or English). Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations.
5、来华学习或研究计划。申请人可用中文或英文书写；A study plan or research proposal (written in Chinese or English).
6、须提交两名教授或副教授的推荐信，用中文或英文书写；Two Recommendation Letters (written in Chinese or English). Applicants for undergraduate program and postgraduate program must submit two letters of recommendation signed by professors or associate professors.
7、《外国人体格检查表》复印件（原件自行保存，可在留学基金委网站下载：http://www.csc.edu.cn）。须用英文填写。鉴于检查结果有效期为6个月，请申请人据此确定本人进行体检的时间。Foreigner Physical Examination Form (photocopy) (The original copy will be kept by yourself and the form is uniformly printed by Chinese healthy quarantine departments.
It must be written in English and can be downloaded fromhttp://www.csc.edu.cn/studyinchinaorhttp://www.campuschina.org). The physical examinations must cover all of the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Incomplete forms or forms without the signature of the attending physician, or the official stamp of the hospital, or a sealed photograph of the applicant, are considered as invalid. Please carefully plan your physical examination schedule as the result is valid for only 6 months.
8. 国家汉办汉语水平考试（HSK）成绩单，若暂未取得也可先提交申请。The copy of valid HSK Certificate (if available).
六、申请程序/Admission Procedure
1. 登录http://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn完成网上注册和申请，机构代码为10520 类别B，填写并完成《中国政府奖学金申请表》及材料上传。
Complete the online application procedure. Agency Number: 10520.
2. 将所有申请材料的电子版发送至admissions@zuel.edu.cn，完成奖学金申请。All application documents should be emailed to admissions@zuel.edu.cn to complete the scholarship admission.
