本次考试在梅尔维尔图书馆一楼计算机室举行。为了保证考试的顺利进行，石溪大学孔子学院工作人员做了精心的准备工作。从考场的选择、测试，到报名的宣传、组织，从考生注册指导到考前模拟测试，都花费了大量精力，并积极向汉考中心及其他考点咨询沟通，从他们那儿得到大量帮助，确保本次网考的成功举行。
On October 21st, 2012, as the only HSK test site on Long Island New York, the Confucius Institute at Stony Brook University successfully hosts its first HSK. In the future, Long Island HSK candidates can take the test at this local site without taking long trip to other sites.
The test was hold at Melville library PC classroom. To make sure the test been taken smoothly, the Confucius Institute staff members did a lot of preparation work, including choosing test room and checkout, advertising and organizing, register guidance and mock testing etc. They also communicated effectively with both HSK test center and other test sites, receiving lots of help from them.
On December 2nd, 2012, the Confucius Institute at Stony Brook University will host its second HSK test.
