孔子学院暑期中国文化实践活动旨在推广汉语教学和中国文化，促进学术交流，加强海外学生在跨文化及专业方面的国际交往。在国家汉办（孔子学院总部）支持下，我校与美国纽约石溪大学已成功举办两届。学生们通过课堂教学和实践活动，学习了汉语言知识和中国文化知识，通过赴三峡、西安、北京等地的文化实践考察，了解了中国传统文化和中国社会经济发展现状，从而激发了海外学生学习汉语的兴趣，深化了对中国社会文化的了解，也促进了两校的合作与交流。
学生代表认为此次活动收获很大，同时也希望能在赴中国前得到更多宣传信息，到达中国后得到更多的指南和引导，以便于他们更好地融入当地生活。他们祝愿这样的合作交流活动越办越好。
The Summer Camp feedback meeting was held in the conference room of Confucius Institute on September 28th 2012.The meeting was hosted by Annalisa Manthos, the assistant director of Confucius Institute . Juan Huang, the deputy director of Confucius Institute the instructor Youzhen Long attended the meeting as well as some student representatives. The students shared the four- week wonderful reminiscences and provided many good suggestions about how to improve the Summer Camp.
The Summer Camp is the main part of the Chinese language & culture student exchange program which is organized jointly by Stony Brook University and Zhongnan University of Economics and Law. The aim of this program is to spread Chinese language and culture, promote cross-cultural exchange and expose students to global ,cultural and professional diversity. It was organized twice successfully with Hanban’s supports. The students have a unique opportunity to improve their Chinese communication skills and experience the beauty of China such as Xi’an ,Beijing over the summer vocation and also foster a better understanding of Chinese society and culture.
The student representatives also hoped the organizers to provide more information before their departure and more guidance after they arrival. They believed the Summer Camp will become increasingly well organized.
